Discourage a Boy From Wearing Girls' Clothes

You have a dilemma on your hands. You are the parent of a son but he wants to wear outfits that belong to the opposite gender. What a shame! You will learn what to tell a little boy who wants to wear girls' clothes.

You should let him know how he will probably look. For instance, it would be to his benefit to say, "You will look weird if you go around wearing female clothing. I have raised you to take pride in your personal appearance."

You should let him know he will be stigmatized and be subjected to being called unflattering names. You should tell him, "If you ever dress like a girl, you will be called a sissy."

It is important to inform him his social life is on the line. He needs to be made aware that he will have a hard time keeping his friends and making new ones if he does not stick to dressing up like a boy.

You must let him know he has a lot to lose. You should tell him he is likely to lose his sense of dignity and self-respect and lose the respect of others.



It is your obligation to inform him he will put his personal safety at risk. It would be a good idea to tell him, "If you dress up like a girl, you might be attacked."

You should point out the ridicule he will surely bring on himself. Please say, "You will embarrass yourself and others and become the laughingstock of the region."

It is vital to let him know how his manhood is at stake. You can tell him, "It is not manly to do this; additionally, you will probably be thought of as a girl."

You should remind him of who he is. You should tell him he is a real man and he will sacrifice his identity by not dressing accordingly. Tell him it is against social norms for people to wear something that belongs to the opposite gender.

Use these ideas to discourage a boy from wearing a girl's clothes!
